Introduction

Commonly referred to as Colonial Anemones or Colonial Polyps.

Characteristics

Almost always found growing on the tube casings of Eunice tibiana worms from a muddy habitat.[1] The worm tube is constructed of a paper like material and there are often other things growing on them like sponges and various algae. Very rarely is the worm collected with the tube and so the casing gradually degrades over time without a worm to repair it.
