Barrier reef 400 tank setup instructions

Post by Johnconnor1 »

Hi all

New to all this. I have been given a barrier reef 400 fish tank, about 40L. I have all the equipment that comes with it, but i am not sure how to set it up, especially the back panel sction.

Would anyone have a manual or can guide me to set this up correctly. I notice there is a fan and light also in the back part and not sure what that would be for.

Thanks for any help.

I dont think mine every came with instructions, even when new.

The skimmers in them were crap so its usually best just to run the chambers with media.

The fans are designed to cool the water and lights but you get heaps of evaporation when you use them.

You also need to change the light bulbs quiet often in these or retro fit some LED
