I encourage you to become a financial member prior to the day for the minimal $30/year it is and only $25/year for renewals from there on, as not only will you receive a free zoa frag if you are one of the first 30 to confirm attendance but on the day we will have several other corals we will be fragging for demonstration and those frags will be given to all the Financial MASQ members that attend also. The more Financial members on the day the more coral will be fragged to accommodate those.
So for this first event in a while, and if you have paid your membership before the day you can expect 2- 3 frags, a free feed of pizza and soft drinks provided, not to mention the remaining 10 months of membership which will entitle you to another 1-2 frags, food and drinks at future fragging events. These will be organized in accordance with participating businesses and there will be at least 2 more before the financial year has closed in June 2016. Plus there is the monthly or bi-monthly meetings at members places to attend and discuss tanks and set ups for individuals in person and on top of all that at the Annual General Meeting once a year we have there is multiple vouchers totaling $300 for the CHOICE of where you wish to spend your win at MASQ’s participating sponsors!!! Not to mention the tools and equipment available to MASQ’s members to help with a tank move or a new build and discounts through group buys that get organized once in a while. To take advantage and be able to attend any future MASQ meetings and use of MASQ equipment and benefits you are required to be a financial member, this frag day is an introduction for those to find out more about who we are and what happens and what you get for your monies worth.
Membership interest/participation has waned over the past seasons but MASQ are committed to provide a platform for interactive learning for it's members who are into marine aquarium community. If you want value for money in an organization that interests you and is there to help with your questions and solutions through online forums and in general hands on help then do yourself a favour and join today! MASQ does not have staff to pay out of your memberships or massive overheads, it is a total donation of time by its committee to bring together all of us to enjoy more of what we do best….Marine Aquaria.
You can sign up for a financial membership through MASA if you wish to take advantage of all I have mentioned above. The first 30 to confirm attendance at the Frag Day at Reef Savers will recieve a free zoa frag, MASQ financial member or not makes no difference, but if you are also a financial member before the day a further frag or 2 and also a pizza lunch and soft drinks will be provided on the day for MASQ's financial members. Cost: $0 to attend and free frag for first 30 confirmed attendees or $30 for annual MASQ financial membership to be paid prior to the frag day and this entitles you to everything outlined above for a financial member for the rest of the financial year's events till June 2016.
