MASAOG coral growing comp

Post by consoletech »

Alright guys, Its been a long time!

So here is our re launch of our MASAOG coral competitions.

To start us off, we thought we would invite you all to go become activists! Let's save some coral! Head to your LFS or not so local fish shop by the end of May and find a (not so) nice brown acro. Something where you have no idea what colour it is meant to be. Once you have saved that coral, head over to our coral comp forum and start your journal.

We would like a description of your system, a write up on the piece, a current reading of your parameters, and a FTS. Then we would like week by week (or close enough to) update of how your coral is going. We will let the magic happen until the end of August and see if we can't bring some amazing colour and growth to these stunning corals.

We have created a new sub catergory for you to go to, to post your coral post :http://www.masa.asn.au/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=209

Let the rescue mission begin!

For the low, low price of < $24 you're welcome to join us :roflmao:

Expect an update when we've all got the brown sticks that we're saving - we're a bit excited about the potential results!

How brown are we talking? I finally got around to renewing my membership this morning and would keen to give this a go. I bought 2 brown ones a while back and they are starting to look really nice now. I wonder how many of the brown ones out there used to be 'ultra' lol

Sorry for not replying sooner Jason.

As brown as brown can be - but purchased between 19 April and 31 May. So it sounds like yours might already be a little too not-brown to qualify :)

But the end of may is a while off, so you haven't missed out yet!
