I was talking to my mum about it, saying I couldn't find an ugly enough vase for the comp that was big enough to do what I wanted, knowing her taste it was likely she would have something to fit the bill.

I saw the knock-off flavorwave in a catalogue and said "this would be awesome", she raided her cupboards and came out with the proper 1 and said it was crap and to go nuts. :roflmao:

Thats the plan Nathan, the only drama is the nut that secures the fan, it will have to be cut off with a grinder tomorrow. then the whole lid mechanism will be exposed.

I plan to keep it as factory as possible on the outside, heating/cooling shouldn't be an issue, it will be in the same room as 8ft which acts as a huge thermal mass
