Started messing around with a pico stand ala Sin's idea. At this stage it is just mocking up with wood, and will proceed to finish once i know where everything will fit and function.

  Looking good Greg!

I've decided to leave mine without the stand and maybe build a circle top only which will house the light, Too many choices :roflmao:

Nice progress on yours and the tank fits well in the stand.

That stand looks smick! So much so, the missus is hounding me to make one for her fishbowl that never gets used. lmfao

Thanks peeps :) I must admit the stand is still pretty rough at this stage but will come up a whole lot better once i work out how im going to make my ideas into a functional reality. Im not completely sold on this stand either, it all looks like some oversized coffee machine.

That's a perfect theme! Silicone a handle on the side of the bowl, just for giggles lol
I was originally looking at one of those glass kettles at Kmart for my pico. Probably a good idea that I didn't though. knowing my luck someone would've tried to make coffee early in the morning without looking properly.
