Introduction:
Finally setting up the new display tank, upgrade from the overstocked 4x2x2.5'
Taking our time setting it up, still plenty of strapping and prep work to go before it's wet.

System Objectives:

System Type: Mixed Reef

Display System:

Strike up Date: Soonish (Late August?)

Display Tank: 8'x6'x1m tall, Central Weir

Display Lighting: 6 x 400w Halide

Stand: Custom Cabinet

Hood: Custom Crown Hood

Sump: 6x18x24 Sump - design still in progress

Refugium: Will be incorporated into sump

Refugium Lighting: Probably HO T5


Support systems:

System Water: Natural salt water

Display Water circulation: Probably 4-8 Vortech MP40w

Return Pump: 3 x Eheim 1262

Skimmer: Still deciding

Evaporation Top Up:Manual to start, Auto at a later stage


Chemical Support:

Calcium Addition: AquaVitro

Alkilinity Addition: AquaVitro

Other Chemical Maintenance: AquaVitro

Current Water Chemistry:
Nitrates:
Phosphates:
Alkalinity:
Calcium:
Salinity / Specific Gravity:
Magnesuim:

I've seen it in person many many times, and yes it is HUGE!
I think the glass is almost 2cm thick?

Can't wait to see you stocking the monster, pacco :)
