I like the large clownfish population, any aggression issues?

No real aggression issues to talk about. The usual territorial twitching of the clowns, but that's about it. No torn fins or anything like that. All the clowns are from the same parents and were introduced at the same time. Also with the amount of anemones I have there is no fighting for space etc.

Your sps version was amazing, one of the nicest setups I have seen, the sort of tank that you want to come up in google images when showing poeple what nano tanks can be!

But your nem tank, freakin awesome! So different and effective
I am following l, looking forward to the progress

Thanks all for the kind words!!!!

I'm thinking of selling the contents of the tank if anyone is interested let me know, I have the 6 month ich again.

Thinking of going back to full blown SPS with no fish at all.

Cheers

Well an update...

Tank will be heading into a different direction, anemones will thinned out massively and clown population will be reduced. Royal Gramma will likely go as well (still to be decided).

RBTA will remain as a centre piece and I will be adding a mix of colors with small LPS and SPS corals. All the while trying to keep to a minimalist look (Minimal rock). A shallow sand bed will be added to the display. Gone back to zeovit to try and keep my nitrates down. Planning on adding a Deltec MC500 skimmer to the tank as well (replacing the Tunze 9004).

Will update with some pictures in the coming weeks.

Cheers

Here are the latest pics after removing a 48 anemones , added a shallow sand bed and removed some rock. I prefer the open structure a lot more.

Still early days with the change but may remove more anemones (likely).

Still 27 clowns, 1 chromis and 1 yellow belly damsel. The Royal Gramma was removed and is now living in AGP main display tank :)
