Re: Sin's 8L pico in a bowl- March update.
Time for an April update, Still carrying out 1.2L water changes every 3 days and everything just keeps on multiplying.
I have a second green morph that has grown since i put the single one in, It's about the size of a 10c piece now and the zoo's have spread like crazy. I cut 3/4 of the Xenia away and the new bit has taken off again, Keeping it under control and the size of a 20c coin Max.
The biggest surprise is the acro frag, It went in pretty much poo brown and now it a bright green as seen on the pic below.

Thanks for looking.

Looks great Sin. Amazing just what some regular water changes can do to keep everything happy.
Whats your plans with the cooler weather comming? Any concerns with temps?

Thanks for the comments Guys!
I have a small 7.5w heater in the back which was pretty much on full time since the start of last week.
At nights i wrap a blanket around the tank which at the moment keeps it warm enough for the heater to stay off, I'm hoping this will be enough to see it through winter.

FTS for May, Excuse the photo as i had to take it with the video camera.
Still going along nicely, Have noticed 3 new red rimmed zoo's pop up which i didn't have in the tank previously, Totally different colour to the ones that were on the rock when i bought them. Too tiny to photograph atm.
The only thing im not liking at the moment are the 3 big stomatella snails that move the corals around each night.

Thanks for the comments guys! The tank is still coming along nicely.
I played around with the light intensity a few weeks ago and the SPS tissue has lightened a fair bit so I've had to turn it back down
and hope it recovers. Not much growth on the SPS before the light issue but the colour change from when i first put it in was amazing.
It gets a 1.2L water change every 4th day now as 2-3 days seemed a bit much, The coraline algae has taken off and needs scraping at least once per week to keep it all clean.

This is reallt really cool Sin. How do you prevent algae growing all over the glass? Do you remove the rock and give it a wipe down, or is it naturally taken care of by the stomatella?
