Frag day at Reef Savers 27th September 2015

To help out with access to the Reef Savers shop it is far easier to enter around the back of the shop in the building at the end of the Eileen st cul de sac, much more parking area also on the premises and street.

For all those going to the frag day event, there will be a sausage sizzle bbq provided for everyone on the day and also a $50 instore voucher that will be raffled during the day all thanks to the team at Reef Savers. This day will be a chance to see what being a part of MASQ will provide for you at future frag day events also and a chance to meet many passionate reefers in the great community of marine aquariums in and around Brisbane we have. Hope to see many there and if any questions I am more than happy to help answer them, PM me if you like also. Dont forget to add yourself to the list.

Welcome to MASQ
Unfortunately only those members who attend on the day can receive the benefits of the meet.
We are planning on having multiple events over the coming months so keep your eyes open for updates on RTAW and also on the MASQ website and facebook forums.

Not sure on where you are located but a few local shops to try for acans would be

reef savers at underwood (hope this correct )

furn fins at burpengary

plus im sure theres plenty of others i have missed.

Also try putting a WTB (wanted to buy) advert in the classified section here as many members here have frags/corals they will sell

Well what a day

We had over 30 people attend today with 21 MASQ members, apparently the best turnout weve had for many a meet. Thankyou everyone who helped make this day happen

Special thanks to Janelle and Aaron from Reaf Savers for having us along and letting us use their premises
Aaron gave us all a pretty in depth lesson on how to frag corals, with everything from Sinulara, Duncan, Chalice, Acro and Monti being fragged, im sure everyone ejoyed it and i certainly learned alot.

Also thanks to Adrian, Cam and Rhon for their help in making this possible.

Congratulations to Clayton Ross who won the $50 door prize kindly donated by Reaf Savers

All members walked away with a heap of frags ( a lot more than we planned on) but thanks to Janelle and Aaron we ended up with quite a number of frags each
