GlennF's DSR mixed reef tank

The purpose of this forum is to allow people to showcase their tanks, and allow other uses to ask questions on equipment, livestock, methodology etc.
Specifically for LFS Display Tanks and Commercial Operators Display/Holding/Breeding/Quarantine Tanks.

Work in progress

I removed a branch invested with invasive zoanthids sp.
Because i needed the branch i spayed the pest zoanthids with 10% caustic soda an left it there for a few hours. After that i used the highpressure washer to remove the waste.
I used a facemask all the time

After removing the invasive zoa's with caustic soda, I reused the reefbone to place some more exclusive acropora species.

THIS IS THE NEW SCAPE I WILL DO WITH FOR A LITTLE WHILE.

Useless update? - Definitely NOT!!!

What a beautiful tank, great job mate. Not particularly happy re the bit where you've decided to murder those zoa's :devil: as I'm a huge zoa lover, but each to their own.

I happen to come across your journal by chance, but I'll definitely be tagging along from now on. :thumbsup:
