The 10L GSP lawn

Everything still growing well. A tiny mantis shrimp has been digging up some of the sand though.
Left it in as there isn't anything in there that it can attack.


Some macroalgae has sprouted up too. The caulerpa has appeared seemingly out of nowhere!


There is also some interesting stuff growing out from between the zoas. I am not sure what they really are, but they do look nice.


Diagonal shots are always nice!

So I now have it fitted:





I will have to keep an eye on that caulerpa because it is threatening to overgrow everything.

A water change, abit of new sand and the filter turned off makes the pico very photogenic.

Looks great. Is the GSP still spreading? Seems to have stopped in the last few months.

Love hte macro algae, but be careful of that caulerpa ... can take over the whole system if you aren't careful.

When I took these pictures, a trochus had just motored right through the middle of the GSP. The GSP growth had also slowed down when I reduced feeding to reduce the detritus buildup I was seeing.

The caulerpa gets alot of pruning, but I discovered it does still get everywhere. Still I like the contrast that its long green leaves provide. Almost like having freshwater sword plants.

It's been a good macroalgae. Nice growth I have pruned it slightly a few times.

Excellent Read. Very jealous of your nudibranch hitchhiker, seems like a perfectly scaled inhabitant. What happened to the floating rock ?
