Re: Sin's 8L pico in a bowl
Thanks for the comments all!
Things seem to be going pretty good at the moment.
Added a small anemone shrimp and this being my sons first marine tank he wanted to rush and add coral, fish etc. So i lent him one of my small hammers to make him feel better until i can get something a little different for it.
Still a few things left to do until I'm happy with it.
1. Rebuild the light into another case and suspend it above the tank
2. Better the filtration
3. Stock it with corals that are a little different
4. Pick a fish for it
5. Hopefully find a pair of sexy shrimp
Below is a FTS.

Re: Sin's 8L pico in a bowl
Thought i would post an update for this month.
I was considering not closing this tank down but withdrawing from the competition as I've pretty much been in and out of hospital since Boxing day and had very little time to put in a decent effort.
I decided to post an update for this month and see what next month brings, I'm changing about 50 of the water per week and still have a fair bit to do by the deadline in March.
Here are some pics of it today and hopefully there is a decent update to follow soon.

Put together a small fan which clips onto the light to keep things cool, Will redo it all when i make some sort of light stand so the light isn't sitting on the tank.
