Silly question, can this be used to gut load brine shrimp and rotifers?

From a nutitional value they would benefit from it yes, but i would probably start with a 1/4 dose initially and see how they go. Personally i have never tested it for this purpose.

I assume you are using it on your tank? If so i would take a little once mixed and add that to your BBS.

Just need some advice on the amino acids .... Can it be setup mixed in say 500 ml container and then dosed 3 ml a day for 700L tank ... if so mixed with reef roids ... can this be done and what steps would be needed to keep the mixture "fresh"

Unfortunately no it can't be done this way as it is a protien and will go off. The longest i had it set up like this was 3 days up here in Qld but it was the heat that got to it. Even coral foods will go off once mixed with water after a few days. Some people have made a batch enough for a weeks worth and kept it in the fridge and dosed as needed through out the day over the week.

I mix mine with ether reefpearls, reef roids or tropic Marin photo/zoo and dose during when lights on one day then next day feed when lights off as some corals feed during lights on and off.

do you turn off your return pump and skimmer for half an hour or so when feeding this mixture? and leave vortech on to blow the mixture around the tank? or do you target feed
