Sorry to hear KV, did you add any new additions which could have introduced the whitespot?

If the fish were already infected or white spot was in your system, the 6+ hours drive to your place would have stressed them enough to let it take over. But that was a while ago now.

Im nearly sure it is white spot it's got all the marking of it. No new fish. Either.

Ok update since I have had to move house the tank under went a bit of a refit an re stocking we have moved it to a cafe for a display an marketing both the Aquarium Store an Greg
Cafe, we are going for a Bommie style reef with clams and lots of corals very mixed if I cn get onto the phosphates. If there is any I will try some sps.

A bit of a sad day we lost our epuallete shark not sure of the cause,

We are in need of suggestions for fish to get in must be reef safe, we need at least a blue fish, some purple fish. And others.
