Im replacing my current Cade HL600BP with a new tank that fits better with the dimensions on my new rented house.
I have ordered a fireaqua Starphire glass tank but i do have a couple of questions.
Most of the DIY builds i see have the frame exactly the same length as the aquarium meaning the doorsstick out and dont lie flush with the tank.
My questions is, for a tank my dimensions is there any reason i cant just build my structure slightly smaller and account for the cabinetry so when i add the doors it sits flush with the tank?

In my understanding you would want to have support under the entire tank. If there is any glass around the edge without support I would be concerned for it structurally.
Cheers,
Aaron.
