I have a water purifier under the sink.
It's got two cannisters.
One reads sediment, the seconds reads carbon.
Does this constitute RODI?
Thanks
Is it RODI?

Re: Is it RODI?
Its not RO or DI. The first canister is a polyspun filter, to remove the chunky bits, and the carbon is for chemical adsorption. RO is reverse osmosis, which is when a high pressure is applied to a membrane, overcoming the osmotic pressure through a semi permeable membrane and removing dissolved components in the water (certain molecules and ions), and DI is deionisation, in which ion exchange resin is used to remove dissolved minerals
