Herbivore, meaning "anatomically and physiologically adapted to eat plant based foods".
Can be used to describe the feeding requirements of marine fish and invertebrates feeding almost exclusively on marine algae.
Example: the surgeonfish, tangs (Family Acanthuridae) are primarily herbivores.
